The sweet fragrance of its red flowers was matched by strong growth in Vermont. We observed good foliar health, with no powdery mildew or black spot at that visit. The combination of flower, fragrance and vigor earned our attention.

Regional observationsEncouraging vigor and foliar health in Vermont. Performed very well in the Pacific Northwest, where it is planted at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland. The fragrance was exceptional in all three locations: Vermont, Portland and Arizona.
