The Selection Note

We retained this rose for its distinctive Persica character, the dark eye at the center of each flower, and the disease resistance recorded in our evaluations. It brings a different expression to the collection.

Selected by Francis

Regional observationsA natural, open habit in Arizona that fills in as the plant matures. We recommend it for the Southwest. We have seen this variety growing in many parts of the world, and it performs well wherever we have found it. As with Raspberry Kiss, its disease resistance is why we selected it: in our evaluations it is the most disease-resistant Persica we have grown.
