Theodor Fontane Rose^™

The rounded plant and abundance of orange flowers earned our attention in Arizona. We recorded a generous flowering display on a substantial shrub framework. The whole-plant effect, as much as the individual bloom, made it memorable.

Regional observationsOne of the most disease-resistant shrubs we have evaluated. It came through our partner's Michigan trial very well and does particularly well from the Pacific Northwest and California down to the Southeast. For an orange shrub rose that is compact, tidy and free-flowering, with an excellent habit and exceptional resistance to disease, this is our choice.
